Hi folks,

Section 3.1.4 of the RoC (Proper Language) has been updated to reflect our new profanity filter.

The following entry has been updated:

b. The DarkSpace Game System utilizes language filters to reduce the impact of profanity. Self censoring, character replacement, and alternate spellings are not acceptable as they may bypass the language filter. Whilst we accept that players are going to use profanity, the language filter is there to protect the young, and not to be used as an excuse to overuse profanity.

We accept that in todays age of Call of Duty, and, well, Call of Duty, players are going to use profanity every once in a while. Whilst we'd like to curb this for every person on the planet, we have to accept that this isn't going to change. The system is there to catch the odd usage, it is NOT there to be used for an excuse to swear constantly. Please bear in mind that overuse of profanity will STILL be actionable by the Rules of Conduct.

Thank you,
Pantheon
