Hm, I thought mod's were suppose to be relatively nice and helpful to everyone, but it seems that is not the case with Dwarden. Apparently I'm "VERY VERY STUPID" because I posted a link with an SID number (which I didn't know what it was), so Dwarden decided that was a good time to insult me. I was posting a link to help a user understand the language rules, but I guess that the link was only available to mods. Anyways, I don't really care what everyone thinks, it just makes me pretty mad that a mod can't even treat another mod with respect just because of my lack of computer knowledge.

Some of the mods tend to think the others are stupid, yes. All mods should treat each other with RESPECT at ALL TIMES.

yes ... respect for each other is one point which needs to be added to the mod rules, and also to the Rules of Conduct ...

I have to agree with Captsmooth, I try to be patient and helpful with all DS players and I have seen many mods who are simply too impatient and impolite with new players (as well as other mods and everyone in general). This can definetely affect the atmosphere of the DS community. I would like to see the mod voting system implemented. I enjoy being a mod, and I don't know if I would get 'elected' to be one or not, but this would ensure that mods who are rude, mean and impatient would not remain mods for long and I think that is more important.

Yes perhaps the selection of some mods should be overthought.
to sun as our new community manager 
(gratz by the way)
as first make a list of all mods in DS (there seem to be very much of them now).
and whenever any complains come up the mod is getting a flag (if the complain was right!)
with some flags a mod is loosing his right.

Yes, I agree that you told me what I was doing, but it was the manner in which you told me. I believe your first words were to some effect of "You are VERY VERY STUPID for posting your SID number". I don't think you really needed to go into the detail of how stupid I was for posting something I didn't know what it was. Another path you could've chosen was possibly something like: "You know you posted your SID number?" and then when I ask what an SID number is you could've simply expained. Just though the way you handled the situation was very poor. Maybe that's how you treat other people, but don't expect me to be treated that way.

let's stop this discussion here .. it's nothing which should be discussed public.
you should handle this private, but atm you're insulting each other .. that moves the whole community and all the other mods in a bad light.
if you want we can meet later today, let me know if you want me to take part, but i'm convinced that you can handle this alone ..
