Rules of Conduct
Welcome to Darkspace, the MASSIVLY MULTIPLAYER SPACE COMBAT and STRATEGY game. What follows are rules of conduct for all players in Darkspace. They have been created to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for everyone.
- Refrain from using vulgar language and obscenities, not only because many players simply don’t want to be subjected to profanity, but also because Darkspace has players of all ages.
- Illegal activities are prohibited in the game CQ / Darkspace lobbies (these activities include piracy and pornography)
- Don’t take the game personally, other players are going to destroy your ship or stop you from accomplishing your mission in the game. This is exactly what they are supposed to do, and it is exactly what you will be doing if you continue to play and advance your character in rank. So don’t get upset and launch a ‘verbal’ attack on your fellow players when things don’t go your way.
- Be patient with new players, we were all new once. Don’t fly off the handle and insult new players because they do not yet know how to do something correctly.
- You are not guaranteed kills, ship damage is based on shots landed not kills so don’t get mad at your teammate because his/her shot destroyed that enemy instead of yours.
- Using exploits and cheats to gain prestige will not be tolerated; you can and will be banned for infractions of this type.
- Play to win, don’t join a side just to sabotage it so you can switch teams and take advantage of your subterfuge, moderators will take action against your for this type of behavior.
Have fun, and please report wrongful actions to the moderators and administrators. Help us to keep Darkspace an enjoyable gaming community!

I think we're going to have to be more specific with the "vulgar" words, as many players think that certain words are not vulgar at all...
