As far as I am aware, it was agreed to do fleet officer meetings once a month...

So, acting upon that assumption, I'm setting it up for 11/28/09, 4:00cst(GMT -6 I am told).

Please, whether you are an officer or a not, post any issues that you would like discussed at the meeting so that we can set an agenda.

Keep the following in mind:

  • Nothing we do effects development, so dont ask us to change a ship, for example.
  • Suggestions must be limited to what players and fleets can organize and do.
  • Anything that players can do/change in the way we play the game is open for discussion.

not one to complain... and not complaining here...

heres how it is tho..

I almost quit playing in sag this past week.. and why? becouse every time i got on i did the same freaking thing... had to go cap back R33... every day!!! when all i wanted to do is fight!!!.

so yea i felt like not going back.. and so did several other ppl..

if u think im just crying... then you have never expierinced dying 35 times in one week!!!.. and that would be no problem to me... exept i died 35 times last week in bombers.. and ecm friggs... and supply.. all for bomber wings...... really really agrivating..

i dont mind dying in combat ships... hell ill even fight out numberd and out gunned.. im sure a lot of ppl will tell you that..


im just saying the subject of the last fleet meeting was "how can we get more pvp going on in MV"

and i believe kicking the legs out from under your opposition every day is not the way to get more PVP going on.

and yes.. i know planet capture is what the game is about... but id dont stop me from wanting to just bang my head against the wall when i see a sea of red and no planet for me to even work with.. no supply and no players.. becouse we have no planets.

You clearly haven't tried bombing demaret with a battle station and EAD protecting it in a JUMP CRUISER with the old ICC def III's and the eleventy billion pulse beams. 41 deaths was my count.

Highly or fully enhanced starships should forfiet 1 if they are killed enhancement if they are killed.
Pres lost for death is very low atm... perhaps a different incentive to not die, and to engage in pvp could be used such as this idea.

ok this is more stuff that woudl make me say nevermind playing this game... spent hours modding my one ship that is modded... and so if i could die and loose it all... wth is the point of enhancemets?

Not the place for this. We as players can not change the code.
This is about GAME PLAY, and only game play.
If you have some idea to push forward that would enhance and create more MV combat, let's hear it. If you are requesting code changes, there is a beta forum for that. Go there.

King of the Hill tournament.

Base idea:
all participants meet in certain area, all have same class ship, firgate, dessie ect ect. and all fight it out till one left. Then move on to next style ship. continue this cycle until one person has 3 wins at number one. It maye take a while, or it may not, depends on each match. Bragging rights, a post in the forums.. do this maybe once a month

btw, I stole this idea from another combat game it's always a large player puller.

idea:

can we have a special, fast action server where there is a a small star and a uncaptureable planet near it, and 3 planets that are terran, have a safety zone around them and function as SY's (locked at ADMIN? xD)
that all have clear jump paths to the planet........

maybe the whole map a safezone except for a 3000 GU sphere around the planet.

this would give intense combat in a small zone, without having to worry about being bombed elsewhere etc

Good luck with the meetings, I feel that since the last meeting they have helped rejuvinated ICC as some of us went to play for them for a week and look at them now, probably the most popular faction to play right now. Thats one good bonus thats come out of player interactions meetings because of their love of the game.
