After some initial problems with the new mother board not setting the memory timing correctly... my computer is back up and running...
I've done a full upgrade to an AMD 64 3000+, new motherboard, PCI express GeForce 6600, and new case even... Just a word of advice if you build a new computer, and it keeps going to blue screen on you, go set the DRAM timing to the lowest possible setting..
Beta should get an update this weekend...
The GNU port is 90% done... need to finish porting the network code, then get the game code to compile (which should actually be easy) and we shall have a FreeBSD / Linux based server backend for DS.

Bad idea , only do it if the memory allows you to do it

when he says lowest, i think he's referring to the worst performing/safest settings, not the lowest(fastest) speed settings..
as a side note, you should set your memory timings to auto or to the ones specified by the manufacturer, you can encounter memory issues as well when setting your ram "too slow".
