so finally, the invisible black moon was sighted at about 8 pm here. id ul fitr is going to be celebrated in about 8 hours here, and internationally on wednesday, august 31st after dawn in the respective countries.
if you know someone who has been keeping a daylight fast since the start of august, go to their houses whenever possible and give them a warm bearhug
also, big congratulations to those who have endured an entire month of fasting with a smile of satisfaction on their faces. believe me, its not easy to maintain a roza and be happy about it.
i know a person who broke his roza before sunset many times because his body could not stand hunger for that long, but he still held most of his roza properly. another ended up having fever last week. but they held their faith. THAT is Determination.
aadaab, salaam, id mubarak priy bhai! allah ne tumhari sharafat se bhare roza ki pukaar sun li, aur tumhare man ki ichhayen puri kar di hain.
allah ki pukaar sunte rehna aur uske nakshe kadam par chalna, taki shaitan ki badi ko taal sako aur apnon ki sukh-shanti barkaraar rakh sako. apne maalik ka naam raushan karna aur sammaan ke paatra banna. doston ki muskaan ko sambhaal kar rakhna, aur bhagwaan ke prati nishthtaa kaayam rakhna. salaam bhai!
