EDIT:
For those of you who are interested, the complete second season of SGU is available to pre-order on amazon.com for $31.99.

It is released on DVD on May 31st.

SGU returns to finish off its 2nd and final season this March! (Yay!)

SPACE:
Tuesday, March 8th, 10ep(SPACE trailer)
SyFy: Monday, March 7th, 10/9c

Be sure not to miss it!

Late last night I came across an unfortionate reply to a comment posted on spacecast.com. The comment was directed to SPACE and asking why they haven't taken control of the SGU series since SyFy doesn't seem to be able to be 'responsable' with it. someone from SPACE replied to the comment simply saying "SGU simply isn't for sale". Unfortionatly this means another channel with therefore not be taking over the franchise.

Here's a very quick recap on the final episode of SGU so far, and a little on the success of SGU on SPACE.

Also, heres a little extra I dug up on spacecast.com. Check out stargate.mgm.com for behind the scenes and sneak peak videos/images, although it appears that nothing significant has been added for S2.5 yet. And of course, SyFy.

I'll post more info here as I get it.

Feel free to post anything else you know about it here. (ex. pictures, trailers, etc.)

*Lets keep the comments positive please.*

Nor is your face.

SGU will be moving to Mondays for Syfyers. Paired up with Being Human, it may be another stunt to improve ratings, though I really don't understand why ratings should matter. I am excited to see what is to come this half of the season.

There are rumors of an SGU movie in the works, too.

What he said. Though I'll probably watch it any way, to see how the train wreck ends.

IMO only Rush is the only well developed character out of the lot. The rest are a mess.

Screw SGU. Where's my Stargate Atlantis Movie? Damit!

While they wrapped up the SG-1 series. They left SG:A unresolved.

Thx for letting know when it's coming back.

Don't say it's not that great, it's just you don't like it.

Btw, they won't make a SGU movie, and they're working on SGA Movie, but it might actually stop, from what i heard. Don't remember why thought.

Ps: Ellie is the best char in SGU, Funniest and remember some of my friends I know.

After DL'ing and watching SGU Season 1, I'm pretty positive that SGU is one heckuva dull show.
The characters and acting are positively one-dimensional and wooden.
Just as bland as Janeway and Voyager.

It wasn't the best performances ever, but it gave it some charm. The story was unique, non-standard things happend to a standard SG team.

Plus I liked Janeway and Voyager . Same here: not the best, but interesting and fun to watch nontheless.

I can bear slow moving storylines. I sat through all the Trek movies, B5, and BSG:TRS.

I just dislike one-dimensional characters. Sort of like Tom Clancy characters in his novels.
I always tht sci-fi was doomed to have square, straight cut, one dimensional characters until BSG came along. I just wished the characters and acting were more natural. More human somehow.

Janeway was a stiff Martinet. hated her.

Scifi characters need to be less heroic and dedicated. They need to be more selfish, cowardly, greedy... The darker side of human nature. More believable.
