worst piece of software since aol.
got on my system somehow (didnt install it or anything that uses it, near as i can tell), aw it was running on start up and axed the mofo.
an now i cant connect to anything except thru IE, and some programs are failing to start (utorrent's claiming WSAStartup() failed, and/or i have the incorrect version of WinSock installed)

no, thats a damned virus is what it is.
gonna be real pissed off if i have to reinstall windows to fix this mess

yep that is a virus alright. you should get comodo anti-virus so you can run things in an isolated virtual environment so you can find out if it's trustworthy or not

Should sort you out. Bonjour is known to corrupt it with it's own version. It is the very definition of Malware.
