With the highest number of meteors streaking across the skies around 4:45 p.m. ET on November 17, the full Leonids peak will be effectively invisible for viewers in North America and Europe.

Gonna sit out tonight in the field with a 12 pack, MP3 player and a warm jacket.
Should be cool....always liked the stars out in the boonies...no city lights, no noise. Maybe that's why I spent almost 1000 bux on my telescope when I moved out here!

That was sweet.
Saw some meteor's on and off all night...then between 2am and 4am (for me) there was a lot!
Waaaaay more then the 30-50 an hour like NASA said over western Canada.
Redneck Rebel said on his way home from work (around 5:30am) he kept seeing them streek across the sky and dint know if he saw them for sure...or if he was sleep deprived.

(note: on the photo gallery on the right, pictures 11 and 12 from a security camera are at 12:21am, yet it looks like mid-day ) [ This Message was edited by: Julian Delphiki on 2009-11-21 14:44 ]
