old game that i bought an old copy off but i have a question that the manual i have wont cover has anyone played this ? if so how do you upgrade ships in your fleet =p i have clicked button mashed and read through whats left of the manual i have (pages missing ) and i cant figure out how you upgrade the npc thats in your fleet help please lol

I was being sarcastic.
As I made a big post a few weeks ago about EVE up and coming Dust 514 which is a FPS/RTS game which is linked to the EVE universe and you fight on the planets and will be on consoles. This has been in development for 3 years so far and is very similar to an idea of DarkSpace: Assault but after a few post showing interest and even one by a Dav it mysteriously vanished and deleted.
Which is why i was being sarcastic and obviously the moron that deleted it maybe forgot that soap box is off topic.

I gave the game a quick google search, as I have never played it. After 20 minutes, I was unable to find anyone mentioning how to upgrade. I tried to help. Sorry.

if you mean the other ships then sell them between missions and buy a better one. tho if i remember correctly you can't sell your own ship so that one your stuck with.

And no you can only sell and buy new ships.
I think there was a mod that let you upgrade a ship, to that ships design upgrade.

SFC 3. Ah yes, semi-fun game, didn't match the entertainment value of the first.
Alright down to business.
You can upgrade your own ship. You CANNOT upgrade NPC ships. You can only add/remove them from your fleet. Here's a tip though, different ships have different loadouts, some are stronger then others. If you're shopping for vessels, the only relatively easy way to find out what they use is to join them into your fleet and then go fight somebody. If you're not happy with what they are carrying, assuming they survive the fight, you can release them and go find some one else. You can only have a maximum of two escort ships. Also note, there can never be more then 5 or 6 ships per team per battle... So trying to find a "massive" battle is a waste of time. Bases are NOT included in this limit!

Been too long since i played that hunk o crap but anywhoo. in the ship config files u can change ur (insert wateva ship u want too fly) to have pretty much any weapon in the game.
Cant remember other file but u can change the hull cost of each ship as well as changing the arcs(bout as far in depth i got with it), As for me i made the Saber uber expensive since its the one u start out with allowing you too get the soveriegn, or borg cube or scimitar dependin wat race u bein at the time.
However doing these changes will get u kicked from the servers if there still even up.
