I'm really liking Google's new browser Chrome... I've been a Firefox user for a few years, and I think I shall be switching now...
Mostly because it's very fast and the UI is well done as well...
You guys should give it a try...

chrome's missing some functionality ive come to expect from firefox, namly support for plugins and some form of ad control/removal.
chrome's not bad by any means, but it could easily be better.

Switched to Chrome since before it came out of beta. The start-up time is the winner for me. A vanilla Firefox is slightly slower (nothing to fuss about), but with extentions it starts slowing down until you're waiting over a second or two for it to start. Chrome starts up instantly and the sandbox mode of it means you can just close a tab without the entire browser dying on you if it's screwing up.
I'm loving it - can't wait for their own HTTP_S implimentation.

The Firefox extensions are exactly the reason I will not switch to Chrome, yet.
I use them too much as part of my regular browsing, and the same functionality has yet to be duplicated within Chrome.

I think i'll take a second and all my wonderful plug-ins over insta-go an non of my glorious plug-ins. But as soon as they fix that li'l bit, i'll prolly switch over faster then it starts.

This is pretty much all that binds me to using Firefox.
If I see replacements for the things I use get released for this browser, I'm switching.
Firefox hogs up so much RAM. ;_;

The main problems I had with Chrome was mainly with some pages loading improperly, videos not playing, etc. It got to the point I went back to Firefox.
May have fixed some of the issues by now, but I'm not willing to try it, yet.

In the past i have had something against IE, but i can't even remember the reason today so i still use it. But because of that i have had or at least tested almost every browser. Problem is however because of experiencing all those browsers, i have never settled for just one.
Chrome looks good and a lot of functionality has been added since the first release. but i have to say it really is fast, but over time it becomes slower.

Should find & use your primary default browser IMHO.

I was using Firefox from since few years. Even though I updated it oftenly it used to get stuck and windows were closing suddenly. But since I got Chromes i never looked back. It has awesome features... Its cool.

Their ads aren't intrusive like popups, etc.

Safari is built on Webkit.
Google uses Webkit.
Chrome is much better built than Safari (and also uses newer code practices, so much more effecient and up-to-date too).
Hence, Chrome > Safari.
Seriously, give it a go : www.google.com/chrome [ This Message was edited by: BackSlash *Jack* on 2009-02-20 13:58 ]
