me 2, by far one of the best Betas ever released by windows. I actually think its close to rivaling the uber mac os x, but it is a beta none the less 
What version to you got 32bit or 64bit?

I still really like my windows vista 64 bit version, I have never had any problems with it and I don't get why people hate it.

In my opinion vista is bad, it freezes on me all the time and many programs dont run as smooth as they do on XP.
I hope that 7 will become some sort of Vista look xp-preformance OS and of what I readed so far that is what its gonna be, might download beta 1 too, but i need a test system I wont install in on a virtual PC as areo wont work propaply then.

I used to hate vista, but it runs great on my pc, very little issues(some campat, but w/e) and the graphics are wonderful...not too mention that without vista, great games lie Age of Conan and Crysis would never have eaten a year of my life away in their warm, fuzzy, explody, bloody embraces!

I'm sorry Vista doesn't run on your pentium 3 450 Mister "I want x OS to run as fast as 8 year old OS on 8 year old hardware."

I love Vista, never had a problem.
But Windows 7 is indeed sexy and well done so far.

My reason is lack of directsound support, making my high-end sound card nearly worthless. I value high-quality sound effects even more than graphics, so if I use Vista I get the shaft.

Why would I screw myself by using Vista? And does Windows 7 support directsound? I highly doubt it.

Ok, i know that Microsoft made a big flap when releasing Vista. But i would like to know how the Windows 7 is working out, is it really better then Vista, or just another poor excuse for a mac op?
Ide really like to know because i NEED to drop ths vista and so far it sounds protty good.

Yeah there is, Jack. It's what the Beta is labled as.
But the Taskbar is different then the actual one, so it's not real.
