you mean those

The following Windows Updates are causing GCQL to crash after installation.

* Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6/7 for Windows XP (KB944533)
* Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (KB947864)
* Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (KB950759)
* Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB953838)

If GCQL will not load up properly after installing this update, you will need to roll back the changes with the Add/Remove Programs utility.

Just download the Beta client and play release off of that.

If you install SP3 (for XP) or SP1 (for Vista) you may be required to use the beta GCQL client to login.

I think this is the thread that might help.

Well, I have both installed and I still perfer the release lobby a lot more than the Beta one.

I've also removed all of the updates and haven't had any problems at all with my computer.

On another thought though, it really seems like Windows updates just doesn't like DS.

Did you guys do something to get MSN mad at you?

Well lets look at the situation....

Removed all the suggested Windows Updates and didn't work ... Check...

Installed Beta Client and still didn't work? ... Check (sort of)...

Hmmm, maybe with the recent updates (I got 15 security/general updates) to IE/XP and the such there may be new updates that are blocking DS that we do not know of.

Please be patient... I would think that, with prior experiance with all the problems MicroShaft has given us, the Admins/Devs/Programmers are prolly looking to see what damage MicroShaft has done to us again..

Have Patience...

Rocko
