So lyke, i was reading MSNBC weather news, and according to the weather prediction center there they are tracking numerous weather patterns similar to the ones witnessed in 1974linky i advise caution...because according to the weather guys here we could see a record outbreak of tornados... anyways, i'll keep you updated

Where is here and why would anybody want to live there anyway? Is it Tornado Alley located in the mid-western part of the USA?
Definitely Mostly Curious,

I'd love to witness a tornado. We never get them in England.

The Origin of a Tornado is relatively unknown to most of us...but heres how a tornado is formed
Step 1: Heat and Cool air collide with each other to form a Cumulonimbus Cloud.
Step 2. a Mesocyclone forms
Step 3. To the naked Eye, The Storm clouds form a Shelf Cloud which is what is seen before the downdraft winds hit
Step 4. Shelf Cloud Circulates to form a wall cloud
Step 5. Dust and debris is sucked up like a vaccum which forms the base of the Tornado
Step 6. Huge Updrafts are Reported inside the MesoCyclone forming the Tornado
Step 7. Depending on the intensity of the unstable atmosphere the tornado could be between F0-EF5

You're incorrect, we get tornados in the UK (no not the RAF jet version), probably not on the scale as they do in the US but we do get them (remember the one that torn up part of birmingham city a few years ago?), also as a interesting fact as per unit (F-scale) we get more tornadoes than any other country in the world.
But like you I love to storm chase a tornado and experience being there.
