I have recently been having a lot of trouble with my computer. It has been incredibly slow opening Internet pages, sometimes just opening at all; I get random popups that I have NEVER gotten before. So I am just wondering does anyone have any free software that works on getting rid of this stuff? I have tried 2 AVG virus scans they’ve found 2 or 3 things, but I'm still having a problem. And before you ask NO I have not been downloading porn.

Did it found alot of things, deleted those. But every now and then I still get a few pop ups. My internet is still a little slow.

Use a proper registry cleaner and/or a commercial antivirus program to purify the computer and prevent unprovoked popup launches.

Could also check your C:Windows folder for any .com, .pif or .exe files that dont belong there.

And see if there is a correlation between those files and a process running in the background, but it sounds more like a registry burper than a real virus-virus.
