Before signing up to Mafia, please check this link for instructions on how to play Mafia.
Additionally, take the following rules in mind:
- Do not discuss the game with people OUTSIDE of the game. You are free to privately chatter with people playing, but do not do so when they aren't playing.
- If you die, you are no longer allowed to continue participating until the game's finished. I certainly don't want dead people continuing to cast off their suspicions, or Cop/Doc to tell people what they know after they die!
- Each phase of Day lasts 24 hours. This means you have an entire day to post in the thread to claim innocence, cast accusations and vote for who you believe to be the bastard. Remember that you can post more than once, and that not each post needs to be a vote! Feel free to discuss, within the topic, why you feel a certain member is a dirty killer.
If, however, majority is reached on a lynch, then that lynch will run as soon as I see it - Which means until I see it, you still have the opportunity to sway the odds.
Each phase of Night lasts 24 hours. This means you will have an entire day to PM me whether you want to use your night role and on who, and additionally give people a breather and time to construct arguments, plots and what have you. If, however, you believe 24 hours to be absurd, you can petition to have it changed... But I really want to give people the time to do this.
If you do not post within the alotted time, your vote will be considered "abstain" (although it does not increase the "abstain" meter and instead, will go for whatever was majority at that moment). If you do not perform a night action within the alotted nighttime, it will be considered a refusal to use your powers. So remember this!
- No editing of posts, unless you're me.
- The following roles will be observed: Townie, Cop, Doc, Mafia. They will be renamed to be, respectively, Officer, Intelligence Officer, Medical Chief and Pirate.
- The goal of the "innocents" is to lynch all Pirates. The goal of the Pirates is to lynch or kill the innocents.
- You have the opportunity to vote "abstain". If a majority elect to abstain, then there will be no lynch that day. Doc, Cop and Mafia are allowed to abstain at night if they so choose.
- In the event of a tie (two people with an equal amount of lynch votes with no majority), one of the options will be chosen. I will toss up a coin or die, depending on what I get my hands on first, and you will be chosen at random. The same goes for Pirates if they are inable to decide on who to kill and both vote for a different target.
- When voting, please use the following format, and please bold them too:
VOTE: *******
WITHDRAW VOTE
ABSTAIN
(This way I won't have to read the entiriety of your posts to find out who you voted for)
As far as the rest goes... You're free to claim anything! Heck, you could claim to be the Cop when you're not to cast suspicion to the real Cop (who will have to argue why you are lying). Feel free to lynch your partner as Mafia as well!
Whatever it takes to win (within the rules set out above) is allowed to be used. Give no quarter!
Game will start 24 hours after this post. If there are less than five players, there will be no game.

Alright... We have six players already!
Mind you I will distribute roles depending on a die roll. A d20, even. So you can't post here saying you want to be the Doc, Cop or Mafia. Haha.
Other players are still welcomed to play.  ...
