The New Mercedes Benz SCL600.

This car is really different.

That's not what is different about it.

That either.

....and now for the 'really different' part:

Here is what is different.

No steering wheel, you drive it with a joystick. No pedals either. Can you drive with a joystick? Your kids and grandkids probably can. The influence of video games in our lives has really arrived, wouldn't ya say?

SCARY THOUGHT THAT NOW A 7 YEAR OLD COULD STEAL YOUR CAR AND PROBABLY DRIVE IT BETTER THAN YOU.

Bah, primitive.

http://www.emotiv.com/

Uses brainwaves to create an input for a computer. Since all control systems in a car are electronic, and function through computers...

Soon (5-10 years), all you'll need is an alpha-wave.

The real name of that car, according to this site, is the DaimlerChrysler F200, and it was shown off in 1996

Still very interesting, but I doubt joysticks will replace the steering wheel, or even become common, for a while yet.

My theory
1. It was a car built for gamers.
2. It was a car meant to be stolen by gamers.
Doubt it's real but hey yah never know now do yah???

Wanna know mine?

...

It's a FREAKING CHEESE GRATER.

LOOK AT IT'S BLOODY WHEELS.

You all need to get some style.

I mean...

CHEESE GRATER.

SERIOUSLY.

Car designers these days...

It's obviously designed to be functional for the... erm... cheese... grating set. Yes.

Please... you can't properly grate cheese on those wheels, the holes aren't uniform! This sounds like a UGTO plot to me...
