While watching the BBC, I had Weakest Link and that pugnastic pig of a game show host on the Telly. She was asking what each player did for a living. This one chap said he was a plumber. She asked who he worked for.
Fast Responce. How much does he make? 40 Pounds and hour on weekdays.
How about Weekends? His responce? "Well if I have to come out to your Flat on a Sunday its 180 Pounds an hour...."
For Americans that translates to, (current as of today) $80.87 an hour to plunge your toilet. He said that was the most common thing he does.
Oh and if you have a plugged loo on a Sunday? You better take out a loan. It translates to $363.91 an hour on Sundays.
I figure either Saturdays are double weekdays (80P and hour/$161.71 per hour) or this guy charges the Sunday rate. He didn't say.
Anyone want to be a Plumber?

I think the phrase "crapload of money" is appropriate for a plumber.
