Okay I called up the Manufacturer for star trek legacy and he says my computer wont support it.....and now.....i found a computer at walmart for $448 plus monitor its an AMD Athlon dont know what all it has but i've been lookin on Tigerdirect.com and this is the computer i want

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2224153&CatId=1886

that brands a Cybertron Gamer computer for $599 add the monitor and it comes too $745 minus the 50% first customer discount so any ideas will be appreciated

Find a Specialist Provider of parts, Or try to build it yourself, walmart, dell and all those stores will sell you crap for High Prices... Custom Build!

Ebuyer is good for it..

If your not worried abour shipping costs Computerplanet is good.

That system sucks.

If it's a "GAMER" system, why does it have a pitiful 512mb of memory, and a crappy low-end graphics card that even struggle running Ds at anything decent.

Dell ryms with Hell for a reason. If your computer costs less than 1,000 bucks, it blows and dont waste your time.

Another note, dont buy from Walfart, you might find some indonesian 12 year olds finger in your hard drive

even a PC under 1K can be good. totaly depend on what your gona use it.

I used a CAD notebook as mobile desktop for the last 3 years.
(heavy gaming included.)

o and my last pc costed 1700 $ thats excluded one card that stil is on back-order.
and it stil won't allow me to play DS. (ok it was a server.)

[edit]style errors

$150 processor
$100 memory
$300 graphics card
$100 motherboard
$50 case
$50 DVD drive

$750

And that's being generous (high end processor and graphics card).

True, Im just used to computers i dont have to pay for. Its nice when the company you work for lets you buy whatever system you want for at work, and one for at home.

...I win
