Ok. let me set the scene for you guys. I had a crazy full week of classes, including a couple tests. I simply didnt have the time to study for both tests, so I studied yesterday for the one I took yesterday, but only had a couple hours between classes today to study for today's I had NO IDEA what I was looking at in this calculus book. I was so screwed. Then! Fate smiles upon me and sends a wall of snow straight for the campus! I was so relieved that classes would surely be cancelled at the last minute and I would have all weekend to study for the test!
Then, as I watch online to see the doppler scan of the storm as it just begins to sweep over, I see this crap!
Yeah. you guessed it. My campus is RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the hollow circle on the north-east side of that storm. The Storm actually divided and went around the campus without ever snowing here! I took my Calc test on schedule. I probably got a C on it anyway, but still! What IS THAT?!
/me got hosed!

hehe, the same thing kinda happened to my campus, except the storm converged over me and began dumping snow like crazy.....Then it just kind of split apart.

I walked into campus on a winter day when the sun was out and it looked like the snow might disapate a bit. When I walked out I thought I was going to need a shovel to find my car.

enter the dreaded canadian ice storm
walk outside, my car is coated in a 2 foot layer of ice, as are the roads.
also, since ppl are dumb, huge chunks of this 2 foot ice are flying through the air as the wind peels them off peoples cars. so driving home runs the risk of getting impaled by the edge of a giant piece of ice

in New Jersey, they fine you if that happens (Ice or other junk falls off your car and hits another motorists)
and by fine, I mean they slaughter you with fines.
trust me, it never happens in NJ anymore.
