So I have been in the Air Force for a couple of months and I have come to know a few quotes that I rather like. Those who are or were in the military may enjoy them.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. Good choices, I've actually been, coincidentally, trying to memorize the first one for a while now. Very nice.
EDIT: Another one I've been memorizing is
