If so, I might have just the thing for you.
Free upgrade. It's all legal too, all it's doing is tricking your hardware to look like a better version so you can use the upgraded software, as Creative have deemed the Audigy 1, 2 and Live! series absolete. You can try download the software, but chances are it won't work (the creative patches that is).
Anyway, the above link allows you to trick your card into looking like an Audigy 4, so you can use the new software, which does most of the sound work for you. It allows you to use EAX 5.0, and also allows you to use the new control panels.
Beware though, funtionality of the Audigy 1 and Live! cards isn't great, as they don't have the proper hardware for some of the things. Works best on Audigy 2 / Audigy 2 ZS's though. Worth a try if you've got them.
