I dont want to give to much info on the movie all i want to says is GO SEE IT!!!! It is by far one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen and I would recommend it to all and everybody.

I'd have to give out the caveat that this IS a hollywood production and not a documentary. I can't say for sure because I haven't seen it (and don't plan on it...it seems to exploitative of the victims and their families), but I'm sure some creative licenses were taken for dramatic effect. It reminds me of the droves of people who saw Passion a few years back and kept saying "wow, that's really how it happend." No, it's a Hollywood version of what happened!

Personally I am not a fan of 'film' version of great disasters or terrorist atrocities. I find it distasteful.
If someone wants to create a lasting chronicle of events, then create a documentary...

I just came back from seeing the movie, well as you may have think, it is very stressing and basicly shows how bad the air control towers were managing the crysis... Its half / half with the main story of the plane and the control towers and U.S responce...

I haven't seen the film so I can't offer a personal opinion of it, but I was reading the Economist the other day and found an interesting take on the film. I think its worth a read, especially if you're opposed to the film. It made me think a bit. I still don't know if I will see it (especially given the dearth of theaters in the area) but I may rent it eventually because of this article.

Not opposed to it - everyone has the right to freedom of expression... just not going to watch it.
