He will be greatly missed.
I remember watching him with my dad from a very early age. Most of my early aged humour and much of my real-life style of humour comes from him and the other Ronnie (The two Ronnies).
I remember hearing it on the radio about two hours ago. My heart sank, because, he was in a way like a hero for me when I grew up. I used to watch his shows (my dad had a lot of tapes), and I used to watch the christmas specials and all sorts.
His memory will live on most definatly
(P.s. It's Ronnie, not Ronny)

He will be sadly missed. I knew him and met him quite a few times from after he left showbusiness for a while he started a antiques shop in Chipping Norton which is on the edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, many people would come miles around to see him and his shop but over time he grew and meld in with the public just like anyone else.
He was a great guy to talk too and I spoke to him a few times in the shop, never shy or deterred to welcome people coming in, even to ask for autographs but people respected him as he had an interest and a business to run which was primary antiques..
He lived locally in a small village in Dean in Oxfordshire which is just down the road from me, very recluded place but you get a hint he often kept himself to himself.
He will be sadly missed, rest in peace Ron. S!
