Okay basically this is a thread to post how this game has helped you out with your life.
This game has helped me Follow Directions properly, Lead People into battle and have players under my command (before i got banned) now that im back, this game has Rehabilitated me to be more vocal with my problems in game and out of it. if i have a problem with a player i voice it out i dont hide it anymore to the point of exploding.
After i got banned from Darkspace i hung out in a yahoo chatroom and we all talked about problems and basically i was helping them sort it out so this game has changed my outlook on life not as a military based game but as a fun environment for everyone to take out their frustrations and deal with their depression, however this game can have its ups and downs (I.E the patch) lol. I admire all the DS players that have welcomed me back with open arms/Tenticals especially my clan leader Zeritu who is a Moderator and welcomed me into his clan Thus so i can stay out of trouble with that being said you guys can post how this game has helped you out in life

This game has ruined my life totally. I no longer have a life because of it. I sit here dribbling over thoughts of the next EAD weekly magazine.

I think Goth was actually being serious with this post.
DS has taught me the value of teamwork, and how everyone's contribution, no matter how small is important to the success of the team.

Strangely, I have to agree with Goththug on nearly all of what he said. The only online game i had really ever played before DS were free Demos like Soldier of Fortune 2, or from really a long time back Diablo and Diablo 2.
DS has taught me how to post sigs, comunicate clearly over fourms and in Chat. to Step into a Leadership role, Understand the bigger picture of what a MMOG is.
On the same coin id Agree with Draf, When i first started playing i would try to spend as much time as i could, i would olny get about 4 hrs of sleep a night, I almost lost my job, 2 relationships, and ive gained arround 20lps over the last 3 yrs from sitting on my arse, drinking mt dew.
not to mention i see the world in the terms of darkspace.. lol
I need help

p.s. Holy crap Pan,.. Did your team atleast win?

Its taught me how to control my profanity 75% of the time in public chat... at the cost of cussing 101% of the time in friends chat ^.^
