Optional for fleet forums to be private now.. |

You can set if you want your fleet forum to be private now, just edit your fleet and check/uncheck the box.
Note, forums are updated only once a day, so if you change this option you may need to wait 24 hours for it to go into effect.

now you may be referring to it first being stated... you are right but it was then taken out due to their primitive way of doing it which caused a great hassle... so i brought it back up and suggested some things

Barth, I did... edit your fleet and you will see a "Forum Private" checkbox... uncheck it within 30 minutes before the update, and your forum will be public again.

Just changed the PHP code so forum changes are instant now, instead of waiting 24 hours, your forum is made public/private right after editing your fleet.
I also added code to allow immediate access to the forum for new recruits, so they don't need to wait up to 24 hours before they can access a private clan forum... same story for members removed from the fleet, their access to the forum is removed immediately.
