As if. Seriously. These are MSPaint images. And I provided thumbnails, too. (EDITx3: They're no longer thumbnails. That's the price of the change). That warning really isn't necessary. Your simple dial-up modem might have some difficulty here, but, beyond that, you should be fine.
Wait. Doesn't Enterprise have a dial-up?
Well, uh, we don't need his commentary here, anyway. Besides, if he really cared, he'd show his obstinance by clicking on the subject of this thread anyway and then proceeding to comment as he saw fit. That's just a guess on my part, of course, but I think it's a good one.
Now... the objective of this thread is to demonstrate how awesome MSPaint is for illustrating DarkSpace-related stuff. That's it. This thread isn't about your Mom (unless you're Demorian), or your puppy, or how you want to be a rockstar, or how you think this game is lame, or how much you hate EDs and PDs. Seriously, I don't care. Go make a whining thread about it or complain in the lobby. I mean, I guess I can't stop you from doing anything inappropriate in this thread. The only thing I can do is threaten to talk to my staff friend (singular) about it and see what he can do. That's all I got, though. Seriously. I'm not that well-connected.
Also, I guess a side objective of this thread is to have lots of laughs. I know I did, despite the fact that some of what I've made over the years took a lot of work - especially the last one. Some of you won't understand why it took so much work, especially since you think it looks like crap anyway. That's okay. This place isn't for you. Go back into DarkSpace and admire its awesome, non-MSPaint graphics, okay? Seriously. Overachieving arseholes.

And, finally... the one I spent time crafting today. How much time? Well, I won't say... but let's just say that I couldn't have done much better with my time, anyway:
Note: It has animation hax.
I suppose you children may add comments relating to the objectives of this post as replies in this topic. Nothing I can do to prevent that, anyway.
- Editx3: I edited first to make me look cool. Then, I edited because of Xpli$it's hahazomglolimanub. Finally, I edited to fix the blank spots created by the second edit... and note that the replaced images are no longer in thumbnail format.

The current Command Carrier is a disgrace compared to the Command Carrier of 1.480. I've flown that ship zero times since this version, and I plan on keeping it that way. But, as you can see, it was my favourite ship years ago. Very nice, indeed.
And, yes, $ythe. We let the JackSwift School of Art thread that Rock started die. One of Doran's posts revived my MSPaint creativity. No more beautiful Photoshop images for me!

Congratulations on being non-descript. Truly, you have improved the lives of all who have gandered at my gallery of goodies by typing one overused word and an emoticon next to it. I may not be able to stop comments like yours, but I can poke fun at them. I'd be happy to engage you in a discussion of some sorts where I can employ seriousness... but, since your post is rather vague (other than the "Faaaail x.x" part), it's quite hard to do so. I could ramble on about the wonders of MSPaint and how skilled DarkSpace artists such as Bad_Skeelz have done very well with it. And there have been people who did not appreciate art done using the application. During competitions, people would be insulted by entries done in MSPaint and be like "well i spent so much time with my entry done in far more powerful applications so i will be very upset and be all like screw this game if one of these poorly thought out and designed entries wins anything." But using MSPaint isn't easy. The tools are very simple compared to what you would find in, say, Adobe Photoshop. The undo goes back three steps, so, if you really screw up, you don't have many options. There are no super-duper-omega-really-bloody-cool layering effects and image applying; the best you can do is paste from one saved image onto the image you are working on.
Is that what you meant by "Faaaail x.x"? If not, guess what: You failed. Unless you don't care enough that your single thought was ambiguous. Then, you're just being a time-waster. So, what did you mean? Were you referring to the lack of what you think to be funny? That's great. Were you referring to the fact that you don't understand these images? That's understandable. They're before your time. Were you actually referring to the fact that you failed because you couldn't think of anything better to type? I'm not that surprised. I have that effect on people.

I encourage you all to embrace your artistic sides and crack open that can of MSPaint-y goodness. That way, verbal ownage will no longer have to be administered. For more tips on the art, you will have to seek out the elusive JackSwift. He will teach you all that you need to know. Why not me? Because it'd be no fun for me if I taught you. I must be surprised!
Also: I'm working on something else for the near-future. I liked the animated effect that I did, although it deviated from the wholesome goodness that is MSPaint. I'll see what else I can come up with; if I figure something out, I'll post it on this thread.
Oh, and I guess that this post of mine also serves as a minor bump. Just to get me to the top of the "Latest Topics" list. Because that's how I roll, son. That's how I roll.
