it is my great pleasure to announce Meko as the Winner of the 2004 Art battle. it was a great battle, both contestants having almost the same ammount of votes, but in the end the score was...
Meko: 50.6%
Forseth: 49.4%
as you can see it was VERY close indeed,and i think its safe to say both players have great talent and skill when it comes to graphic design, make sure you tell them good job when you see them around the block, but in the end it looks like it was Meko who turned up on top...by a hair 
and i also think perhaps we should hold an art battle every year around this same time. let everyone join in if they want, and let the winner get a prize of sum sort. just something for the Event staff to think about (cause we all know they're so swamped)

Some of the IP addresses look oddly similar... plus, there was a flurry of voting for one candidate (about 1/3 of their votes) on the 14th of August.
But, I won't cast aspersions upon anyone's standing... it was a good contest.
... too bad our winner is lost in China.
