Hello.
I just become Commander, and I was trying to take the commander ships.
For example, there's the ST-10 Gunboat Destroyer: you must be at least commander in order to use it.
But if I try to use it, I read "SHIPYARD REQUIRED".
So I went into a system where there isn't a "commander limit" (like Ursa minor beginner area). I reached a planet of my faction, I followed the shipyard and used it: I tried to take the ship: nothing! Always "SHIPYARD REQUIRED".
So, how can I take these ships?
Shoud I build a shipyard? and where?
Thanks!

It says what it says.
U need to have a planet with a shipyard in that system. If you're playing the scenario server, then the best thing to do would be to get into an engineering ship and build up the planet. Same applies to the MV, but you could be in trouble if you're the only friendly in the area and hostiles are out to cap you.

And where can I find an empty planet?

try selecting ur ship, and THEN selecting a ship yard. what it sounds like ur doing is trying to spawn a ship at a gate, but u need to at a planet. if u cant find a planet to spawn ur ship at then go to ur factions home server.
hope this helps

personally the best place i think to spawn ships is in the home server of whatever faction you are playing.
UGTO: Lacerta is home server, Earth is home planet in that server,
K'luth: Andromeda is home server, Sag Hottha is home planet,
ICC: Cassiopeia is is home server, Exathra is home planet.
The home planets in these servers have shipyards, technology and resources to spawn any ship (or they should, anyway)
Also.. after you spawn your ships from the home planet, they save to your garage. So all you have to do after that is just log in the server you want to play.. choose your saved ship in your garage then choose a shipyard or jumpgate to spawn from.

2) Log in in the server XXXXX ???
3) Click on the planet XXXXX ???
4) Go on the planet xxxx....
I'm meaning for UGTO faction....
Thank you.

1) Launch the dark space client
2) Log into Lacerta server.
3) Select UTGO as your faction.
4) Click on the planet Earth.
5) Spawn the ship of choice at available rank.
