For those of you who may be new to Darkspace, we have compiled a list of references to help you familiarize yourself with the game controls and concepts.
DarkSpace Academy Essential Guides:
DarkSpace Academy - Basic Flight Control - Damage Avoidance
DarkSpace Academy - Basic Flight Control - Combat
Manual Links:-
Information on the three playable factions.
How to choose a spawn location for your ship.
Choosing your ship.
Basic Ship Controls.
Combat - Target selection and how to shoot people.
Navigation - Using your ships jumpdrive and getting around in the big wide world.
You can find further help by contacting one of the DarkSpace Academy Mentors.
These are easily indentified by the {DA-Mentor},{DA-Guru} or {DA-Sensei} tag after their name.
Please only wear these tags if you willing the be a full participant of the DA training program. You are expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the DarkSpace Game system and willing to help new players to learn how to play, and above all you must be patient.
If you want to write a guide for the DarkSpace Academy series, then feel free to submit it to me via Forum Private Message for review. If we think it is good enough then you will be given details on how to post it, or feedback on what needs to be included for it to qualify for submission.

New videos uploaded to the YouTube site located
New uploaded videos cover:
- Basic Combat (against NPC)
- Enemy movement/jump anticipation
- Combat jumping
- Worm Holes
- Tracking K'luth
- Bombing assistance (pointdefense and ECM)
New videos uploaded are now 720p HD hopefully it will look a bit better now.
All videos made on the ladder servers are done so without any enemy help. This is active combat and bombing anyone at any time was welcome to come in and destroy me. They had no knowledge that I was making videos at the time.
