~Advanced Supplying~
Using the Skills Youve gained following the point Jump & other Lessons in Basic Supplying ., This is Not too much different , Your main objective is too still keep yourself alive while Fixing Damaged Ships
The 2 Main Points of Advanced supplying we are going to cover is Station & Bombing Supply , Unless you have a death wish Or a heap of back up .. Never supply in the heat of a dog fight ...However ..............
If you are a Suicidal Supplier, supplying in Large Battle/Dogfights Try to use the Bigger ships as shields while Constantly keeping Your Drones active on someone , For this you will need to be checking Where you are going , Who you are supplying With which Drone & Who you are firing your Petty Armoury at .. As i said I do not Recommend supplying In The Heat of Battle As you will Be lucky to Repair 10%hull on any1 ship & You Will more than Likely End up as Spacedust..
You will be Far More Efficient Supplying Ships in the Outer zone of the Frontline Who have do not wait till they are at 10% hull to hit distress...
That being said A responsible Fighter pilot will Unload his/her Fury & Escape to a Safe position & then call For supply .
-If Someone Distress spams more then twice More than likely They are a Lost cause & jumping to them will put you in thier spacedust -
A Good Supply Ship Will Asses Who Needs the Supply more & Where There Drones are More Needed , Remember that in a fleet The needs of the Many Outway the Wants of a few
Supplys are An Essential Component to Any Efficient Fleet, & if you are doing your best to Supply injured Ships Then They will If good pilots , Thank you for it
Sometimes even tip you ...
~Tip:- Watch Your Fleet in the F2 Screen , & if possible jump to & repair who You Feel Will need Repairing Before they even distress , Making sure That particular Ship has not foolishly jumped into the middle of an NME fleet ~
{Station Supplying} -PD OFF-
1*if Supplying a station Charging a planet to drop inf , You drop to 30gu behind it & Put station on Follow(so that Station/hive is Between you & said Planet) Keeping Both Drones on The Station At all times .. Unless The planet was built Like a Osama bin ladens Defence in which case you can be free to take one drone off to Reload ships needing ammo or slight hull repairs , Within 100gu of course
Do not Leave your Station At all & Monitor The Stations hull & Armour Constantly
2* If Supplying stationed station, hehe (Station not moving or in battle),
You are to proceed to Dock the station & once docked Put on follow , Your aim is to be exactly centered under the station , Once positioned correctly you Just Need to Supply supply supply ..If you are asked to Supply Something else , & station is under attack (under 80% hull), "unless its the station telling you to sup them " you do not ... The station is the Most important Member of the fleet , & if you are on station supply you Will Stay with that station untill You Or The NME threat Has been Vaporised ...
{Bombing Supply}
Stay Behind Bomber or 50 gu to the Side & have Bomber on Follow , Keep watching your reloads & keep pressing 'Y'.
-If 50gu on side of bomber You have PD on -
-If Behind Bomber PD Off-
You are to Follow Bomber at all times .. The one exception is if bomber is crazed lunatic & has death wish , Providing the bomber is not under 60% hull within 1000gu you will continue On Target ,Supplying untill 400gu (or beforehand if Bomber breaks early) from planet Then meeting the bomber & keep supplying , you May have to Block some Defence Flak From the Bomber If it is Possible/needed Otherwise Unless power Has been obliterated You will both be running away as fast as your Engines can carry you ...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note :- Supply is Expendable , Your Position as supply is to Supply others not yourself ,(unless Safe for Your fleet to do so) or if you are under 15%hull then maybe Juz Maybe it is Ok
*~Keep Your Fleet Strong~*(The Suppliers Motto)

Not a good idea to dock directly under a ICC Station or Hive, both have a heavy weapon slot where the supply is. Keep about 5gu away from the center of the station, and put it on follow.

lol, this guide is great, but it needs one thing...if you are a suicidal supplier in the midst of battle, try to keep some speed for dodging, don't jsut sit next to a dread and get shot at
