[Event Plan] Darkspace Ironman Challenge |

Event concept:
Darkspace on hardmode.
Create a new account (register that email address too!), choose your faction and fleet(from a list of participating fleets).
The goal here is to reach Fleet Admiral WITH Gold Star Badge....WITHOUT DYING. No getting blown up. No crashing into planets. No self-destructs. No deaths to !?.
Rules:
- NO DEATHS, none! Once you die, you're out!
- You must make a NEW account, with the registration date starting on the event start date.
- You must pick a faction and join a fleet within' the faction and from a list of the participating fleets. You must stay in this fleet and faction for the duration of the event, if you leave the fleet and faction at any point, you will be disqualified.
- No transfering of credits... you MAY however buy new credits!
To win:
Upon event end date, the person with fleet admiral and gold star still in-contest will win. If multiple people reach this, winner will be decided by time played. If no one reaches this, pure prestige value vs badges will calculate the winner.
Prizes: (These I will buy personally before event closure, so unless someone wants to donate, this be all you get. <<)
First Place: 40000 Credits
Second Place: 10000 Credits
Third Place: 5000 Credits
Knocking out an Ironman challenger: 1000 Credits (Must prove kill with an in-game screenshot!)

Teamwork is perfectly acceptable and encouraged! Either MV or scenario are perfectly acceptable to do this challenge in.

So before I even attempt to make this offical.. I'd like to see what people think and I need at least one UGTO fleet and one Kluth fleet to be willing to host players for this. (I still would like a UGTO fleet to help us out incase we still go this route. Even though we may just end up making a event fleet)

To FA without dying once? I'm certain that's inconceivably difficult, not to mention taht even grinding players would need a couple weeks to get there, especially if they're avoiding deaths like the plague.
Maybe try something possible or more short term like Vice Admiral, or 1st or 2nd RA.

The whole point is it to be very difficult and time consuming. ~ The event will be a longer-lasting event (A month or so)

Just to point out.. since I've gotten a few messages saying this is impossible ermgerd.
This is supposed to be hard... its absolutely not impossible though. FA is just a point of reference basically.. I do not expect people to actually achieve it.. I do not encourage exploitation or anything of the sort. Its just to add a level of difficulty.

imo the event is not appealing because of the huge amount of time it needs.
imagine being killed 3 weeks into the challenge, having the rank of maybe VA or admiral, by random punks in dreads and such.
3 weeks of effort, lost with one bad move.
another way around this problem may be to increase the max limit on deaths from 0 (aka no deaths) to 5, that way participants will have less grief when killed, and the ironman's killer can feel less bad.
p.s. - you said something about not transferring credits from old account to the competition account. how do you enforce that?

Perhaps if the goal hasn't been reached then it can be lowered over time.

I like the idea of having people gunning for you.. it adds a solid level of difficulty to the whole event and I offer a reward for those either partaking in the event or just playing normally to obtain some fun and reward out of it.. Just imagine you are doing really well but I am too.. My first thought would be to take you out of the running and put myself ahead 
Also.. if you do end up making it so far into the event, like admiral or VA.. thats quite the accomplishment itself and you'd be set to qualify real well.. like i mentioned before.. FA is just the 'goal' I do not expect many if any to actually achieve this goal. I more so expect people to just try to get as close as they can.
As for the credits... I don't know exactly how I would be able to keep track.. perhaps we could see if an admin could check to see if they had been bought or not.. but if thats too much of a pain or if only big F has access to that info.. I can take that rule out. (Its mostly just a gimmick so to say to get people to buy new credits to support the game.)

A month to get to admiral? Ive been playing for 2 years and just got admiral now.
