Winners:
- Event type: 1 on 1 Combat
- Qualifications: Lieutenant Commander
- Ships Permitted: Destroyers, Cruisers, Dreads and Stations
- Location: Epsilon Car. near the Delta Pavonis Jumpgate
- Factions: ALL
- Event Time: 11-01-2008 14:00 (central)
- Prize Added: 1 week free play for the winner(s) AND 2.5% of their total presige in bonus presige, though at least 250 and up to 2000.
Rules: 1 on 1 combat. Each match is to the death between 2 members of the Tournament Lineup. Participants ships must of the same class and opposing factions.
At the end of the tournament and after the winner is announced there will be an all out melee!
Sign-ups are requested to post below. Please include your ship class(cruiser, station ect.) your preferred faction and a second choice of faction so that we can balance them as necessary.

Note: If you win a match and your next duel is against someone of the same faction, either you or that person may be asked to change factions. Please have both of your selected choice of ships ready for battle before the event begins.

i demand round 2 with Feralwulf. AD against EAD. the Flying Dutchman got a refit following that battle.

I'd sign up except for the faction-hopping caveat. I've always played ICC (except for some occasional dalliances waaaaaay back in the old Fleet Admiral server), and I've far more experience with their ships and tactics than anything from the UGTO or K'luth. I feel like it would be a handicap to force people to play as a faction they're not familiar with.

Not that I dont like the idea of a duelathon, and appreciate taking time to organise all this. I just think maybe changing it to a 2on2 or a 3on3 would be better suited towards the new version. Everything revolves around team work, and less 1on1 situtations. Take the EAD for example. Not to many ships are going to be able to beat it unless the pilot just generally has no idea what they are doing.
Just thought I would voice my opinion. Even know no one asked for it. Again I do appreciate you taking time, and putting forth the effort to organise these events. I think teamwork releated events would work better.

fattierob scouts were ommited from the duelathon for "extremly long fight" issuesbut your welcome to fight sensi on the sidelines and dont forget the Melee after the tourney
