Hey, just thought i would ask if there was still anyone working on events. I really hope so because i think they improve the morale of the community on the whole.

Some sort of game like football with the mod being the ball, all contestants are in extractors with tractor beams and there is goals setup by other mods sitting in space to mark them

I like that idea.
They should make it so that the respawn gate for the mod is in the center of the field, and you can try to blow up the ball, if the ball gets destroyed it respawns again in the center.

Na, the goals are two planets and you have to push the mod into them to mak a goal..
Now that's Fun!

Mods could be in stations and attempt to push the ball away from them using their own tractors, the aim being to ghet the mod ball directly under the station for a point.

that idea is good but that would be hard to know if the ball actually made it there. If you have 2 planets and have a ships hit them, it announces that blank has been destroyed by blank planet. So you could easily keep track of the score

I like the idea fo the football one....
but instead of having it like football i think it should be more like basket ball
with a jumpgate at either end of the "feild" represnting the goals.
Everyone would have like suped up tractor beams, and on two teams... (ICC or UGTO? Human or K'Luth?) and to score would simply have to push "the mod ball" into their oppasing teams jumpgate.
this would also mean that a lot of teamwork is needed.
just my 2 cents.

I propose a kind of capture the flag were there is 2 team, 2 planets.
Each planet belong to the team, team will work with factions.
Each team have a transport ship with 5 infantry, the rest of the team are frigates that could not not be modifyable.
The first team that captures the planet win the round, there will be 3 rounds. Killing will be certainly permited. The field could be discussed, but i would say small for more combat and tactics to help get the transport ship at his goal, the planet that is.
If anyone has a comment about my idea, feel free to reply...

What about a ginger bread man hunt? Have some one volunteer to be a anti sensor scout or stealth scout. then give them a 2 minute lead to run and hide. then after that let everyone loose to chase them down. Give the scouts some pres based on the amount of time they survived and give a big prize to the one that kills tthem first.
