In an unprecedented move, the UGTO High Council Judiciary have ruled that the occupation of Tau Ceti and CD-36 is in breach of 2260 UGTO-ICC Accord.
The V'ladimir Confederacy Armada and allied fleets are ordered to withdraw all occupying forces in response to the recent "martial law" scandal.
This will come as a major setback to the entire Ceti Bridge campaign, as the VCA forces represent over seventy percent of the assets deployed within these sectors. There are doubts that the UGTO will even be able to maintain political control, as there has been a drastic increase in insurgency over the past few weeks.
Grand Chancellor Mato is expected to make a formal statement later today to the UGTO Senate, and issue a formal appology to the Interstellar Cultural Confederation ambassador over this affair.
The effective collapse of the Ceti Bridge campaign will no doubt bring fresh demands from the Senate for Mato's resignation following an uninspiring three years as Grand Chancellor.
