Two empires have fought over independance over decades. A seemingly never ending war rages on all frontiers. Many lives have been lost in the darkness of space. But, in the farthest corners of the galaxy, a power greater than ever before has been building, awaiting their chance for control. Soon an attack will be made, one so powerful that the fate of humanity may never be the same.
------------------------------------ Chapter One--------------------------------------
When the war had started out, a group of rebels had decided the oppresion of a neo-communist group should end..Quickly, millions of the Sol Systems population started to rebel, confiscating hundreds of outdated transport and combat ships. On Venus, they gathered their forces, and faught the first battle of the war...On a small plain on the north-eastern hemisphere of Venus, thirty-thousand rebel troops, or Revolutionaries, gathered, near a UGTO launch base. The rebel forces marched slowly towards the base, raising flags with the insignia of three systems linked, and the letters R.A.F, also known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces. Most of the rebelling planets had decided to keep their military down, but Luna, Venus, Uranus, and pluto decided action was needed. Once the battle had started, the UGTO forces expected a quick and swift battle..Witch, was exactly what it was...the R.A.F moved threw the base quickly, slaughtering hundreds of UGTO troops.
This was the first time the UGTO knew the rebelling planets would not be defeated in their rebellion..The UGTO backed their forces down abit, and waited for the rebels to make a move out of the system..The UGTO had no clue what ships the rebels had taken, so they only sent a new type of cruiser out..ST-76 Battle Cruiser. This new design of ship could easily outmatch any ships the rebelling forces had...right?. Wrong..wrong indeed. Over the span of fifty years, the rebelling forces had captured an outlying cluster of sol. They had given the name -=R.A.F=- to an elite group of pilots, who had been trained to fly the new design of ship..Witch, was a modification to the outdated forms of cruisers, The M-230A Heavy Cruiser . They had developed Shields..A defensive weapon, stronger than anything known by humans.
As the next ten years passed since the development of shields, and a new type of weapon..Flux Wave. Flux could deliver a single wave, witch consisted of over one hundred emp cannons, witch could do massive system damage, and even ship damage. With this invintion, the newly formed ICC, reworked their shields, to where it would counteract flux, taking minimal damage. During these times, the only weapons known where particle cannons. The ICC had been developing something known as RailGuns. These had a limited ammount of ammo, but doubled the damage of particle cannons. In time, they where perfected, and placed on the M-230A series of Heavy Cruisers. The UGTO, in turn, had been working on something known as Chemical Lasers, a single beam of Hyper-Concentrated energy, able to rip threw a ships hull,and armor.
With these new technologies out, each faction had a growing number of advantages,and disadvantages against one another. In the next five years, tension grew between the factions, and the ICC decided it was their time to leave sol, and branch out towards the newley found systems of CD+36*15693. The ICC gathered their forces, now with a respectable fleet and headed towards CD+36*15693. The UGTO had gained word of their movements, and quickly set up defenses on the outter edges of sol. With the new technology, IE drives, each faction could move swiftly, traveling past the speed of light. The UGTO, far more advanced, swiftly caught up to the ICC. The battle started off slowly, each faction testing each other, untill the ICC had found a weakness. The newley developed Chemical Laser beams couldnt fire more than one at a time. The ICC sent in their new form of cruisers, developed two years after the M-230A Heavy Cruiser. The newly cround M-245A Assault Cruiser, loaded with Fusion Torps, something never seen before in combat...It could carry sixty loads in each slot of greatley compacted energy, and hurl them at a ship. The UGTO didnt know how to react to this, and quickly ran. The UGTO Battle cruiser had taken many casualties, but had been layed to waste by a single M-245A Assault Cruiser.
This was it, the ICC where free at last.

During these years of war, a single force steadily gained power..letting themselfs sit in the shadows..Their army grew wise,strong, powerfull...Their technology soared past all beliefs..yet, one thing made them fear the humans..."Courage"..

During the first ten years of the ICC's travel to their newley proclaimed " Home System", they met UGTO forces in battle hundreds of time, but in each battle, the ICC always managed to come out the victor..Untill one fatefull day...Around, three hundred thousand GU from a small system, named Oblivion 1554,named after the scientist who had found it " Outto Blivius", Newly engineered UGTO ST-79 Missle Cruisers, with a new form of weapons, called "IT" Missles. These IT Missles could do massive damage, from over fifteen-hundred GU away, where hunting down what seemed to be a small pack of ICC M-190A Combat Destroyers. These new "Combat" destroyers could use both torpedoes and Rail Guns, something never seen before..
As the Missle Cruisers slowly gained on the ICC forces, they noticed something...There wherent ANY ICC destroyers around, but one, large, ominous ship..The ICC had secretley engineered this ship in Crescent,where UGTO couldnt spy, and where testing it outside of Oblivion. The UGTO didnt know what to do...This rounded ship, with what seemed to be larg engines hooked to its top, could surley destroy any cruiser the UGTO had..They dubbed the ship, the M-300 Combat Dreadnought. UGTO had heard of a new ship design from the ICC, only known as the M-300 series. The UGTO decided to wait before attacking, not knowing this ships power..The Commanders set up three of the Missle Cruisers one each side, and then launched the first long range battle in space war history. The ICC Dreadnought didnt know how to react..It could see the missle trails, but couldnt target them with any of its weapons..Quickly, the Dreadnought was brought to it's knees, now a shattered mess in space. UGTO engineers had returned to salvage the area, thinking they could reverse-engineer these ships..This day marked the start of Dreadnoughts, and long range warfare in space...
After that battle, ICC had sped up its movements, already reaching the system right out of Tau Ceti, the system ritch with resources, named Luyten 726-8 A. ICC had quickly populated the area, letting its first citizens make homes on the few livable planets. Having that system set up, it would be known as the " ICC's first line of defense" to it's home systems..Moving south eastward threw the system, the ICC where surely going to reach CD+36*15693..Near the outside of the system, the ICC radars picked up ships..two of them, witch seemed to be of Destroyer size..The ICC spotmen looked all around the bridge, never seeing a single ship..Then, two ships appeared..they seemed to have feathers, and moved fluid like in space..The Ships didnt attack for a few minutes...Then, in a sudden rush of light, the two ICC frontships where destroyed. The ICC had never seen such power, infact, No one had ever seen this kind of power.. Then, in an instance..the ships where gone...
The ICC ships didnt wait, they quickly maxed their engines, wanting to get away as fast as possible..Then, the ships appeared again, this time from behind..In an instance, two more ships dissapeared from the ICC fleet..
The humans had never seen such a thing, and they couldnt determine what to do..
They where unstoppable...
