For some time now it seems I can bet I’ll be desynced for the first login of the day. The odd twist is I have to be told I’m desynced because everything looks normal to me, and the only way I can fix it is logging for 5 min with a timer on my phone. Any way to fix this?
Everything looks fine on my computer until I try to jump another player. It'll take them more then normal time to react, and them jumping away looks way different because their ship just vanishes. This is the only way so far to know I'm desynced.

I have come to expect and accept this glitch. It has happened to me pretty much every time i first log on since i started years ago. What works for me is docking and relaunching 3 or 4 times in a row. This always fixes for me, try that next time. And yea its nearly impossible to notice your desynced from your end but one way i sometimes test it is to attack your own friendly transport or somthing and see if the damage comes off its armor as u hit it or if the damage to the armor is delayed by a second or two. If its delayed then you may be desynced.

Check:
- Internet connection. Better have broadband. Ctrl P in game to know latency and FPS.
- Hardware. The newer, the better.
- Game configuration. Set graphics to medium or low, music to lower bits.
Hope these help.

Easy way: log off game immediately, shut GCQL down, then launch it again. It works for me.
Hard way: uninstall & completely delete DS folder then reinstall.
I know that you are shaking a lot in game. If it's your ISP fault, then nothing you can do. [ This Message was edited by: DiepLuc on 2015-02-24 15:41 ]

If there was an easy way to fix desync I would think/hope they would have done it 15 years ago. As it stands the only surefire way to resync is to quick log.
Also make sure you don't have multicore enabled or audio voices set to higher than 32. I have no idea why they are options because all they do is horribly break the game.
If you have a good ping, disabling UDP might help with synchronization. [ This Message was edited by: Chewy Squirrel on 2015-02-25 22:03 ]
