Trouble transfering ships across servers |

I have been experiencing this problem for a bit now. Whenever I try to move a ship from any server such as Sagitarrius to another server like Cassieopiea the game freezes and then after about five minutes it will then start back up and only permit me to go to shipyards that are in the server I docked in. Is this because of persistant lag or my system?
If it helps my system is a Toshiba Satellite L775, with an i3-2330M CPU.
4 GB of ram.
and a 64 bit operating system.
If anyone else has had this problem and it has been resolved please let me know. I know sometimes people have trouble transfering servers but I am unaware if this falls under the same bug/glitch/error or whatever it may be. Any help that you can give me would be appreciated.

Umm, it freezes on me at times but only for a second or two, I have no clue to help you , have you changed and game setting lately, if you have and the problem has started since then revert, that's all I can help with though.

This is not a result of recent changes to my settings. It is a problem which has persisted since the beginning of my return to Darkspace. I am at a loss as to what to do.
