Well, Today is just plain weird. Seems that every time i try to connect, i get "can't connect to GameCQ Server"
But i can't tell if the lobby is online, or is the problem is on my end only
may i get pointers?

looks like the metaserver (not the metaverse) might not have restarted correctly after the daily reboot. faustus has been notified

okay thanks for the quick response.
what i was wondering is, do ppl who pay monthly cash get an extra 1/30 credit bonus for not playing for one day? since its wha they payed for it seems fair to me that they...ROFLMAO!!!

The MetaServer doesn't reboot daily, only the game servers..

i had same problem.
i start client, it hangs on update, ask permission to update, permission granted, then on the step of smartupdate the client gives could not connect.
what fixed it for me, is delete c:/windows/users/you/appdata/cookies/low cookies (just example folder, usually its there unless u installed ur operating system differently), restart pc, and then i played other game, after 4 hours i could log in again.
not sure what part fixed it, cause i only tried again 4 hours after cookie removal and pc restart, just figured i post all steps here u figure out what u skipped:)
