On the odd occasion, all my ships in my ship selection screen have their armor/shields lowered to 30% upon undock, their configurations reset to default (weapons changed back to what they were when you launch a fresh ship) along with hotkey numbers reset to default.

What causes this bug?

Your armour and shield steadily increase over time in the shipyard, so they'll always be more than when you docked (unless they're always at 100%).

Your ships configuration is reset when your ship storage is corrupted or if the layout does not match one of the possible number of configurations. This is to stop people exploiting and attempting to get more slots (which happened in past versions).

This is also a way for us to change ships without having to reset everyone's storage. If we change a layout, the ship just resets.

actualy.. its a bug in that, if you spawn a new ship, change some stuff on said ship, then dock without jumping twice, it resets your layout and gives you null armor/sheilds

this not so much of a problem now, in that you cannot spawn in enemy space.. though used to it was a huge pain. Id rather staff work on something else

Done a little testing and able to replicate the symptoms.

The bug is caused by server transferring. For example from Sagittarius to Cassiopeia in the shipyard screen.

Trying to spawn a new ship in a planet in Cassiopeia. It will kick you back out into the faction selection screen and doesn't create the new ship for you.

Then selecting a faction. Doesn't matter if you chose the same faction or another.

Launching a ship that you have already have in your ship selection bank (not a new ship). It will decrease all the shields/armor to 30% and reset your ships key binds and weapons.

Azure, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

To the rest of you : this is how we fix bugs.

Then the only way to avoid this bug is not to transfer between server, right?
