I bought 10 Scout ally enhancements, I could not send orders to any single one of them, so I dare not try to buy anymore. I've also heard from other players that they cannot order their AI sometimes, most often when they dock in a shipyard, or reconnect to the server.
Please confirm this bug so that the staff may fix it.

I believe in the dev log it states the AI are no longer controled if you dock or log out of sever, The system may see dis conecting as logging out for the AI

Docking and/or logging off remove your link to the AI you spawn. This is no bug, and is explained on the enhancement as well as on the website.

What kind of ally and what orders were you giving?
I wouldn't be surprised if the scouts run off, because once their order is completed and you don't give them another one, they will head straight for a gate to exit the game because they don't have an valid order anymore.

Ok. Just bought a couple scout allys in Cassi while reppin my ships. Seems that as soon as I used it it popped up and went straight for Sag transfer gate... AS SOOn as it spawned. tried 3 more and the same thing. You dont even have enpough time to give an order before they just leave for a gate.

| I could not send any order them immediately after I spawned them, I bought 10 scout ships, and none of them worked.

Since these "allies" are suppose to be under your control at all times, why not make it so that if they don't have any other order at the time they automatically default back to "Defend 'player'"?
Ex.
1. Player buys ech and spawns the ally, the allly automatically starts to defend and follow Player.
2.Player orders ally to attack target, ally attacks target, target is destroyed, ally returns to defend player.
It couls also work pretty much the same way if the default was the Follow command.

Problem is, Scouts can't be ordered to defend... it's considered an invalid order for them. However, that looks like it might change soon enough.

F can you fix the platforms that don't fire issue that was never entered in the bug tracking system before.

Is there a limit how many Ally Enh a player can use per ship?
I dont want to meat a single player which summons a whole Dread Fleet ....
