Haven't changed settings in months; last time I logged on was before that hardware maintenance, now that I come to think of it O_O.

Your probably changed your config.ini to the beta meta-server... that's not up anymore.
metaAddress=meta-server.darkspace.net
OR
metaAddress=meta-server.palestar.com
