Asked this before,
You recived 2 weeks free trial, then the event free trial came into effect, the way i was told the server thing works is that:
You use up the 2 weeks free trial and THEN you will recive the REMAINING event sub.

During the free trial you still have the exact same level of access normal, if you are subscribed.. the only difference is that the unsubscribed people also have that access. But hey, that just means you get more people to shoot, to ally with, to plan elaborate fleet maneuvers.
Don't think of it as lost sub time.. think of it as a chance to have a fuller server while you continue to support a game you enjoy.

Just think of this... instead of fighting AI's you got yourself the change to play with real players with /y command as a bonus..
Think of it as an Event to all subscribe player...

why does it still say '0 prestige' and '[DEMO ACCOUNT]' if there was 14 days added to play time?
i played for a few months a couple of years ago or so.

because in this case, a server flag was changed, rather than issuing a whole mess of coupons or running a sql script to add 14 days to everyone's account.
join a game and your profile stats will be recalculated to prestige.
