When you auto follow a ship and they jump away, if you are turned away

fron them and the auto follow is still active, the auto jump will signal and it

will take you directly to the ship you are following instead of disengaging it

will preform a complete jump to the target allowing the auto follow to continue to track your target.

This has been tested and conformed by me a few times to the dispare of a few ugto pilots that have managed to be tracked by me. try it out and post here for an experience.

I used to do that, but it doesnt always follow them the entire way.. if they get too far away before your jump engages, it will take you to where you last seen their ship in the F2 screen

Other than that, useful.. just dont follow into a planet..

Not the wisest thing in the world to say you exploit such a bug...

Doesn't work if they jump far enough away.

+1 brownie points for actually making a post about a possible exploitable bug and not keeping it to yourself.

This is a bug? :/

I always found manually plotting a jump more useful.

Hmm, so everyone purposly jump towards the sun then cancel jump when vore is going to track you?

EDIT: or any small object that would cause a collision so it is less obvious

not really a bug in my opinion, cause you usually end up in a star if ppl catch on.
