Hello,
I have currently activated my account, setup and entered the account also.
But I can't log into the servers.
What is the deal here.

Try logging out and then restarting the lobby. sometimes works if you havent logged back in again before.

No servers require a subscription to join Downey.
Best try would be to hit the update button to see if your missing any files. Second I would check setup for anything that seems unusal (like running the game at a high resultion that your card wont support?).

wrong backslash, the servers are FFA, you just cant gain any prestige when on one without sub 
Also, the rest of the stuff backslash said is what i would propose. If that dont work, try uninstalling (and deleting the game directory afterwards) then reinstalling and hitting update button before anything else

My problem is that I've never been able to get in, it simply keeps saying invaild user name and password.
But they are correct.
Also where is this so called update button? I see it no where in the game.
If it's in the lobby then it's useless as I can't even login in to the lobby.

Thats the problem, you need to login to the lobby (named GCQL) and load the game from there, you cant just load darkspace. If your having problems email support@palestar.com. They will try help you anyway they can, as we dont have access to the database and whatnot, we can in no way help you in your lost password/login name problem.
p.s. Seeing as your in the Lobby now, I'd guess you fixed it .
Zagan has fixed the problem now.
