Unable to start the game! |

I am unable to get Dark Space to show me the login screen.
I start Darkspace Beta from start menu and select "Lobby" from the splash screen. Then DS automatically kicks me back to desktop and closes the application...
The only thing that worked was the tutorial option, but there are no more tutorials available to play after the first one (basic).
Can anybody help me, please?

With regards to DarkSpace Beta only :-
There is currently a small issue on some systems with the automatic update function not completing properly on a fresh install. This occurs if you try to enter a server before manually pressing the update button.
The solution is to uninstall the beta client, delete the beta directory and then reinstall. Once you log in and get to the Lobby, click the UPDATE button at the top of the screen before trying to enter the game server or run the tutorial. Once Update is completed you should be able to run the game normally. Also it is advisable to run Setup before attempting to start a game for the first time.
With new players we would generally advise them to take a look at the Release Version first which you can download via this link as we have a server there dedicated for new players and for learning the principles of the game.

Also, could it be, that you are going to the wrong lobby?
On the splash down list, the one named "Darkspace" is for release client, simply download the release client for play on there.
Beta client lobby is named "Darkspace Beta"
