i just recently found out how laggy this really is. being of the new ICC/UGTO attack on kluth space. i thought i would at least try to save the last few planets we have. well yeah.
problems.
1) i had 0.0 sig (on my screen) and still they could see me. i didnt see any eccm.
2) Stuck In Count Down.
i press J to jump to nme. counted down and got stuck on 1sec till jump. and it just got stuck in that screen. later to regain control at 16 hull and die.
3) Nav Map Dont Show All Ships.
I jumped to a lonely AD. to find a whole stack of ships waiting to kill me. lagged out and i found myself at 40 hull and died.
4) Ship Spawn.
tried spawning my claw. didnt work. went in my clavate. then came back 2mins later and when into sy to find it back there. either my eyes or lag
Theres My Problems/Complaints

nice thing about it is that dreads and stations you can see directly just by zooming in really tight to where you think they are (planet or such)
engine trails will show up for smaller ships as well.
not perfect but lets you get a quick count on the big guns there
other option is to send in a scout (doesnt have to be in a scout) to light up the area, camera that person and wait for the sync to show you the visible ships there..

Of course that will only show the stuff that you are in (or, more often that not, OUT of) sync with.. Duh.
Using the Camera to force a sync is a must.
