A beam weapon that bombards enemy ships with Higg's Particles, affecting their mass properties to disintegrate the ship. The beam does damage as a function of the mass of an armor arc, so more mass= more damage, as the arc is destroyed (the mass is lowered) the beam does less damage, so that the beam alone will never be able to truly destroy all the armor on an arc. once other weapons break through it does something equivalent to the hull taking into account some function of the total mass of the ship. Since shields don't have mass (I think?) the beam would do little to no damage to shields.

Why you gotta make it sound like Im trying to get some OP superweapon into the game. In theory if you were to attack an arc from start to finish there is no reason that it wouldnt do the same average damage as a regular assault disrupter. Infact it would be a beam that would do less damage to smaller ships.

Dreadnaughts and Stations are already vulnerable enough in 1.7, I don't see a need for a weapon that seems specifically tailored to taking them out.

True Fact: There is a herd of buffalo on the grounds of Fermilab. They're called... the Higgs Bison.
