sabot , i remember those, too bad there wern't that good XD
Now they are going to be fit as torpedoes, whats the difference will we see VS the ICC torp?

in beta, compared to fusion torpedoes, sabot rockets have -
4x damage
4x cooldown time
1/2 energy drain
increased range (750 gu vs 640 gu)
very low ammo (18-23 vs 46-54, on average)
3x projectile speed (close to 250 gu)
good for sabotaging enemy big and medium ships. also good against platforms and missile ships. very good against kluth that like to shoot for 2 seconds then cloak for 20 seconds.
not very good for long battles, because of long cooldown and low ammo. stay near planets or dont use it too much on big ships.
brings assault frigates and combat destroyers at par with the assault dread (kinda  )
