Well there you have it. If They take a scout we say they will die too easily.
If they take a frigate we say they will not make any prestige. If they take a destroyer we say it's lame because no-one well be able to hit them. If they take a cruiser we say it's pointless becuase they WILL be able to hit the enemy. and if they take a dread we acuse them of being "dread space" finatics. oh and if they take a station... well we all know what we say about staitons.
So here's my suggestion. Why don't we put our money where our mouth is an code the game so there are "no-ships-whatsoever". as I've so poeticaly put even if I do say so myself.
"planet space"
pray not?

have you guys ever fought using only the lower 3 ship classes? Fun stuff, I'm not sure why everyone wants to use the upper 3 classes, they're so boring.
Battling it out in frigates is just plain fun, and if you die, there's no prestige to be lost.
Too bad the kluth faction is anti-small ship, it's not any fun being in a frigate when your enemy cloaks.

What on earth are you talking, whining, bitching and ranting about here for no reason whatsoever.
I sense the lockhammer will hit this thread very soon.

I was mearly making an in charecter parody about OUR faults with other players and it's not... wait your PROGRAMED to say people are whining when they're just there to make a point and have some fun along the way. don't worry. neurolinguistic programming doesn't cause too much brain damage. there is some hope for you. no matter how small.

and I play DS mostly for the Dread combat.
Yes, combat at the lower ranks is not always easy but combat is not the only way to make pres. Using a supply ship is prob the most newbie friendly way to earn pres at the lower levels...

I usually use dread to attack scout, fri, des... and use scout/fri to attack cruiser, dread, station.

I loved my Scarab until you hoonams player QQ'ed for the mines to be nerfed.
Then there was no point but to play dreads.
Blame it on your own QQ that I'm in dreads all the time.
